LerumoLions Football Club
As a soccer team we endeavour to develop and prepare young aspiring football players for the
future , both on and off the field . Equally , if not more importantly , we want to reinforce non-
soccer specific skills such as communication , teamwork , time management , responsibility ,
discipline and respect for their fellow team mates , management and the community at large .
With our team currently participating in the NFD League which is in the second Division in
the country . This is an opportunity for the young individuals to showcase their talents on an
existing semi-professional platform which will be beneficial for all the young individuals being
developed by us.
By implementing the above we believe we can continuously keep grooming the young individuals to
be well trained professionals .

- To promote the general well-being of young athletes and enhance their technical, tactical, physical and social skills.
- Creating better sports opportunities for the young individuals
- Build great sportsmanship amongst the sports community of North West

- To help eradicate the abuse of drugs and alcohol amongst the youth in the communities of North West.

Mental well-being sessions, Sessions where the young individuals get to learn and see the importance of their mental wellness and those around them .
Team Building Sessions, Sessions where by they are taught the importance of working together and the power of team work.
Social-skills Development, Being taught the importance of being able to interact with people both on and off the field ,learning emotional intelligence at a young age.
Charity Programs, Participating in charity programs helps teach the young individuals the importance of giving back to the community and the underprivileged .
Sports management, The development of basic professional football skills and professional football etiquette
